I have been excited to feature this talented lady for quite a while now. I got to meet Emily in person last week at the Haven Conference and what a sweet person she really is. She is a Mother of 5 children! Emily loves design and you will see how she creates amazing spaces on a budget! She uses thrift finds and her own DIY skills to make her house a home. Hope you enjoy the tour!
Last year Emily turned her dining room into an office. What a brilliant idea, especially if you have your own
business and no room for an office in the other parts of your home. She had the built-ins done by a contractor and I think they are to die for! Take at the before and afters HERE.
Can't stand how your TV is the center of attention? Add a gallery wall around the TV to add more interest
and invite your eyes to look elsewhere.
Loving how bright and cheery this breakfast area is!
How adorable is their back stairway. Emily brought in the children's work creating
a gallery wall going up the stairway. So clever and meaningful!
Loving all the layering of rugs in her home. Sure creates a more intimate space!
Because their family grew faster than she was expecting, Emily created a bedroom and bath out of the old bonus/game room. Loving the layered bedding and the new bathroom below is just adorable!
Happy Friday All!
So cute! Hard to believe that was all done with a small budget!!.. oh and more importantly, with 5 little ones running around! Great inspiration and ideas! Thanks for sharing Amy :)
ReplyDeleteI know! I love her home and style. She is amazing!
Deletewow, if that's what designing on a budget looks like then sign me up! You're the same way, Amy. I don't know how you ladies have an eye for these thing but I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteYou are too kind Luci, but I am not to her level by any means. I can dream...someday!
