It is in really good shape, but needs a little sanding on the top from minor scratches. I love the look as is, but am thinking I need to brighten this piece up for the nursery. Have you seen pictures of two toned dressers around on pinterest and other blogs? Well I have and the more I see them, the more I like the idea.

What do you all think about painting the dresser two toned? Which inspiration picture was your favorite?
i love the two toned look. i have finally done one of my own that i will be blogging about shortly, and kept the wood drawers and sides but painted the top white. i love that second to last one, the credenza, and it's similar to that but with only the top white. i don't know, i think it's more timeless like that. i am sure it will be awesome any way you paint it.

DeleteI like white with gray drawers. White with tan drawers would be nice too. I think it would depend on the nursery color scheme you decided to go with. How about striping it like your hallway with a white top?
