{Completed} Our Investment/Flip Home Reveal!

It has been a long 6 months, but we have finally come to the end. Our investment home in Raleigh is finally finished and is now on the market! We listed the home last Friday (11/16) and have had around 15 showings with a possible couple of offers coming our way today. Unbelievable! I guess the long process has been worth it.

This home is a 1960's ranch. We bought it from an Estate. The home was in such rough shape.  We have gutted the inside and expanded some rooms and have even knocked down a few walls to create an open floor plan. It is practically a brand new home!

If you have missed any of the previous posts and need a little light reading you can read about this project here, here, herehere and here.

Enjoy the finished product! We are truly proud of the outcome.

(Interior Paint Colors: Main Color: Agreeable Gray; (SW) Master Bedroom: Anew Gray (SW); Master Bath: Aloof Gray (SW); Hall Bath: Passive (SW); Half Bath: Mega Greige (SW). All colors are Sherwin Williams!)

(Exterior Paint Colors:  Main Color: Sandy Hook- Benjamin Moore; Peak: Chelsea Gray- Benjamin Moore; Trim: Glass of Milk- Martha Stewart; Front Door: Milk Pail- Martha Stewart)

What do you think? It doesn't look like a 1960's ranch...does it?

I want to give a HUGE shout out to my brother the contractor! He did an absolutely amazing job and I am so very blessed to be able to work with such a talented brother. You rock bro!

Thank you to all of my readers who have supported us with your emails and comments throughout this project! We can't wait to get started on the next investment...stay tuned!

    2. HOLY COW! That is amazing :) I am going to be selling my downtown condo in the summer and I hope I have the same luck you guys did!

I currently live in South Raleigh near Lake Johnson Park (Tryon/Avent Ferry intersection). My husband and I own a townhouse that we are in the process of remodeling.

I'm assuming the house sold is in the North Hills area judging by the style of the house - I love that area! We got married in North Hills this summer.

    3. Good luck with your project as well! I am sure it will sell pretty fast in that area. We own two town homes near Lake Wheeler and if you can't sell yours, you can always rent it pretty fast!
Yes....the home is in North Hills. Lets cross our fingers that all inspections, etc. go well and it closes before Christmas!

The colors are perfect with the crisp white trim - the kitchen is just lovely - all the hardwood floors are beautiful, and I love the openness of the rooms, and they all seem to be filled with light - Your home will fly off the real estate market !
