My Crush {Steel Windows & Doors}

I have been drooling all over these pictures I have found on pinterest and the web. I am totally in love with steel windows and doors. They somehow feel magical like you are living in a green house of sorts. I love how they bring nature and lots of natural light right through each of these homes.

Just thought you might need a little inspiration on a fine Wednesday morning! Enjoy!

What do you think? Aren't they dreamy?
I just might have to put these on my bucket list for our dream home! I am in love for sure!

  1. Oh my goodness ... yes. Kind of obsessing over the door in the second pic.

    1. Agreed! That is one of my favorites as well. Doesn't it seem dreamy to have a space like this?

  4. The third photo is the one that I was attracted to the most. Its background, plus the carpet design created a blazing reflection that’s good on the eyes. I guess everyone would love to feel the ambiance while eating dinner here. :)

  5. What’s best when it comes to these metal windows and doors, for me, is that they don’t favor any sexual category. I mean, there are materials that look completely masculine and feminine, even without saying. But more than the impression it gives a room, the durability is excellent. I have steel patio doors, and they appeal to all our visitors! :D

  6. When you're replacing your windows, make sure that you think about things like insulation. Getting a tight fit so that you can maximize your energy savings and minimize the troubles that could come up with installation.

  7. Yeah, I like the style too! I believe this type of window is called ‘Picture Windows.’ It is a large fixed window that either features ‘glazing’ bars or not. When choosing this kind, select models with ‘low-E’ glass for energy efficiency. If you wish to add window treatments, you may use a tab curtain that gives your picture window a more traditional look.
