I really fell in love with her dining room. Her and her husband added the high Board and Batten as well as the graphic stencil treatment to the walls. The items in the room that really caught my eye were the chandeliers. I love the orb look, but really like that there are two of them. They just add a little something to the space.
This really got me thinking how fabulous two Chandeliers would be in a dining room or over a large bar in the kitchen. What do you think?
Here are just a few that I have found on the web:
What do you think about double chandeliers....yeah or nay?

I'm a huge fan of the double chandy look. The look obviously makes a big statement but if you really have a large enough space to accommodate (or need) double fixtures I also think it provides a practical way to evenly distribute light so the space is comfy feeling rather than a single source light that is too bright / harsh in one spot and dim around the perimeter of the room. Love the images you selected.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Robin! I might just have to put some double Chandeliers in my next home!
DeleteI say yay to the double chandeliers! I love Amy's dining room and how they pull the room together. I also love her walls!
ReplyDeleteI love a double chandelier over a long, rectangular table or island. It not only looks beautiful, it distributes the light evenly above the eating/work area. It's nice to have a dimmer switch so that the lighting can be adjusted for different occassions.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Amy!
