Outdoor Dinner for Two (+ A Giveaway)

We have had some unbelievable weather here in NC over the past week. The humidity has been minimal and the bugs have seemed to disappear. So I decided that it was time to move our dinners back out on the patio. And because today is International Can-It-Forward Day, I used some of the limited addition ball jars last evening to help me create a romantic yet relaxed dinner for two.

If you love canning, mason jar crafts, gifts or decorating with these beauties you can follow Ball  for giveaways and LIVE demonstrations going on throughout the day. You can see that all happening HERE starting at 10:00am EST.
  • Schedule of events:
    • 10:00am - Pepper Jelly demonstration by Chef Sara featuring the FreshTECH Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker
    • 10:45am - Tips on urban gardening & herb preservation

**A HUGE Thank you to Ball Jars for sending the above products for review and giveaway. As always all of the opinions are mine and only mine. **

  1. all the products would make a great addition to my kitchen but the fresh herb keeper is the one (I think) that I'm most excited about .... hate buying an herb bunch with plans to use it over several days only to have it turn to mush or other and be unusable very quickly. And fresh herbs can really elevate a simple meal so I love using them.

  2. I love ball jars! I don't have any green ones yet! I would love to win!

  3. I had no idea they had the fresh herb keeper too! I could so use that!

  4. I'm excited about the jars. I use canning jars to store dry goods in my kitchen, and I love the green color!

  5. This would be a cute addition to my mom's outdoor patio!

  6. The frozen her b starters look great. I've never heard of them before and am excited to see how they work

  7. The herb keeper looks fantastic!

  8. The herb scissors would be so nice to use!

  9. The fresh herb keeper I am most excited about, of course the ball jars as well, love making my own jams and pickles

  10. I'd like to win them all, but the green jars would be my favorite! I LOVE drinking out of mason jars. It reminds me of visiting with my grandparents. <3

  11. The green jars, I had no idea these were available!

  12. I would love to try the frozen herb starts because we always have lots of herbs left in the garden at the end of the year

  13. i love mason jars (hey i'm a southern girl after all) but i dont have any green ones!! would love to have some :)

  14. the herb scissors would be so useful with all these summer herbs we've been cooking with!
