New Crush {Stowe Street} Bangles & A GIVEAWAY!

Last week I gave you a glimpse into some products and ideas that I have been diggin lately! After I wrote that post, I emailed the designer, Jessica from Stowe Street and introduced myself. I told her how much I loved her Bangles and Cuffs and how they reminded me so much of either Kate Spade or Coach designs.

She emailed me back and told me a little background of the company:
To give you a little more information about the company, it was started by my best friend from high school Jennifer and myself only a few months ago. We have been working together for the past two years on a men's bag and accessories company (www.navali.com), but we really wanted to do something for a women's market as that obviously speaks a lot more to us, so we came up with the idea for the bracelets. We have always been big fans of the clean and polished look from brands like Kate Spade and Coach, but their accessories can be super pricey, so we wanted to create a similar product at a better price point. Jen and I designed the bracelets ourselves with the help of our artist who helped our ideas come to life.

She also asked that if any of my readers (That's YOU!) had any ideas for different types of metals and/or designs to let her know! She really wants to expand this company and I think they will do very well, don't you?

And....today is YOUR LUCKY DAY because Jessica was sweet enough to give away an Ella Striped Cuff to ONE fabulous follower of Eat.Sleep.Decorate!

Just in time for Christmas! You can keep it for yourself or give it away for a gift!
(Personally I would keep it...just sayin!)

{Kate's Letters} Etsy Shop & A GIVEAWAY!!!

Over the past few months I have been collecting a lot of great images and ideas for Christmas on my pinterest boards. I am sure this is old news to many of you, but I recently came across this picture:

I was in love with the whole vingette, but mostly drawn to the Hymn "Oh Holy Night...." on the canvas. It brought back so many memories of the holidays with my family. I just HAD to have one! So I checked out where Holly had ordered this fantastic piece. I learned that it was a little pricey! Like $200 pricey. So I was shot down, but didn't give up.

That's where this little shop comes in:

I ran across a few of Kate's prints on Etsy and immediately knew she was the gal to talk to!!

I sent her the above picture of Holly's mantel and she seemed very excited about the opportunity to do some custom work. And for like more than half the price.. I was pumped! So low and behold this is what came in the mail just a couple of weeks ago.

24x30 Canvas Print

Umm...yeah. I am pretty much in love! I would totally start decorating my mantel for Christmas if my husband didn't already think I was going nuts! :) Kate did a fantastic job and does all of these prints by hand. Yeah...this is her own handwriting people! Wouldn't you love to have a talent like that?

SO the Fabulous News: Kate is giving away $30 to her shop to one of Eat.Sleep.Decorate's followers!!

So lets check out some of her other prints shall we?

Love the gold and red for Christmas!

She also makes Christmas cards!

She has lyrics to songs...

Quotes from movies...

Quotes from books....

& Bible verses.

One of my faves!

So who wants to win some fabulous prints?? Maybe some Christmas Gifts?

All you have to do is go on over to Kate's Letters and then come back here and leave a comment telling us which print is your favorite! That's it!

I will be picking a winner using random.org next Friday, November 9th! (Giveaway ends Nov.8th 12pm est)

Thanks Kate for my print. I will definitely enjoy it for many many years!

DIY Dining room Gallery Wall {Etsy Inspiration}

A few weeks ago I talked about one of my Etsy Crushes. I am really in love with Nichole's Paris Prints and even more so now that I have traveled to Paris. They are much more meaningful. I finally ordered 6 black and white prints in 11x14 and I really love how they turned out.

If you remember the dining room wall looked like this before:

The new Gallery Wall really has filled out the space on that very large wall and I love how you can see it from different angles throughout our first floor.

If it wasn't for my dad, I would have never gotten these pictures up on the wall! I have had these prints for almost 2 months! YES...I know! I was afraid to tackle putting them on the wall in fear that they would be uneven and then I would have like 1 billion holes in the wall!!

My dad has that engineering mind and you can see from all his drawings and measurings below.

We first measured the width and length of each picture.
(no this is not me and the hubs all lovey dovey!)

Then we measured the length between the two hooks on the back of the frame to see how much wire was needed and how far from the top of the frame we wanted the wire. We then cut the wire for the NINE frames that I bought.

Then we laid them out on the floor to see how far apart I wanted them from each other.
We decided that about 3 inches were perfect.

Then dad got to work.....

From one end of the gallery wall to the other was 69 3/8 inches. From the top of the gallery wall to the other it was 58 1/2 inches. From nail to nail going across the top there was 24 1/8 inches and going from nail to nail down the gallery wall was 20 3/16 inches. YIKES! That was a lot of measuring and I had NO idea what was going on.

Once we measured and put a bunch of pencil marks on the wall, it ended up looking like this....
And...it stayed this way for about a week with all of the lovey dovey's in the pictures! Of course it was driving me a little nutty, but I didn't have time to get the pictures in until this past week.

I am very happy with how it turned out!
Now...I just need to add a little color to this space! Just you wait...I have a plan like always! hehe

PLEASE be sure to stop by again this evening....I have a fantastic GIVEAWAY!
